Just before September 1st, I figured I’d pamper myself with a manicure. There’s this new dirt-cheap salon that popped up right downstairs in my building, practically still smelling of fresh paint. I thought, hell, why not? It’s a bargain, and the technician seemed decent enough. She nicked my finger a bit, no biggie, and honestly, the job was pretty clean otherwise.

But today, as I’m strolling by, I see this fucking bombshell of a notice plastered on their door:
"Attention: Anyone who got a manicure between August 25th and 31st, get tested for HIV ASAP. The technician has been diagnosed with the virus."

I’m standing there, jaw on the floor, reading this shit, and my brain just refuses to process it. Is this even fucking real?
What the actual fuck?! Holy shit! What the hell am I supposed to do now?!
